Splat Out Cancer

The Challenge

We needed to generate donations for the Baptist Health Foundation for its important cancer market research. The foundation struggles to generate funds in a landscape of “Pink Fatigue” programming, lack of visibility in the community & limited resources at the center to pursue program funds.

The Approach

To combat the large number of cancer fundraising projects fighting for dollars locally & nationally, we felt a new type of fundraiser could help breakthrough & grab attention.

The Solution

We created Splat Out Cancer® — an experiential marketing event that allowed participants to launch balloons filled with paint against a giant wall painted with the word, “Cancer.”


The event raised over $280,000 for the Baptist Health Foundation through event donations & online giving. The funds went toward the continuation of quality patient care.
